How long do I have to stake PLAN tokens to qualify for an IDO?

You will need to stake PLAN tokens before you register for each IDO. Once the registration period opens (usually 5-6 days before the IDO), you should have staked in your desired tier level and then register for the IDO.

For user swho are staking at the Competition Tier level, you will need to stake and register 2 days before the IDO begins.

How long do I have until I need to fund my IDO allocation?

The time depends on the project issuer. For each project you can see the associated timeline for registration, sale, and FMR.

How can I find more information on the projects listed (e.g., token address)?

Please go to the ‘Projects’ page and click on a project of interest. Once you click on it, you will be taken to the project information page that will show project description, token address and the relevant social media channels, whitepapers and one-pagers.

When are the IDO allocation amounts for each tier announced?

Allocation amounts will be finalized once the registration period has ended. The amount you will receive depends on the number of participants in the IDO and the amount the project issuer is looking to raise.

If I register and then buy more PLAN tokens, putting me in the next tier, will that be reflected for the IDO I just registered for?

Registration takes an on-chain snap transaction to determine your tier level. If you have already registered, buying more $PLAN tokens will not be applied to change your tier level for the IDO you already registered for. However, when you register for the next IDO, then your new tier level will be reflected.

Can I unstake after each IDO?

Once a user registers for an IDO, you will not be able to unstake without an unstaking penalty. The team is discussing unstaking fees, so please keep updated via our Docs and Planet Starter Announcements Telegram channel.

Do I need to un-stake and re-stake PLAN tokens for each IDO?

No, you do not. Users can keep staking and just register for each upcoming IDO.

Do all KYC'ed Planet Starter users need to register for each IDO?

Yes, all users will need to register for each IDO they participate in. This is done so that base allocations for each IDO can be calculated.

Do IDO participants need to have completed KYC?

Yes, all IDO participants will need to complete KYC in order to participate in upcoming IDOs on Planet Starter’s platform.

What is the First Mover Round (FMR)?

FMR opens 1 hour before the official sale ends if a project is not sold out.

All stakers who (1) Registered for the IDO and (2) Staked at the Competition Tier and Guaranteed Tiers are able to participate in the FMR.

This means that participants now get an additional allocation on top of their tier allocation.

This additional allocation is as follows: 1x level allocation for stakers who lostin the lottery, 0.5x level allocation for all other stakers.

Users who won the lottery and won the whitelist competition DO NOT get additional allocation.

What is the difference between Competition Tier and Guaranteed Allocation Tier?

The Competition Tier is the lowest amount of $PLAN tokens users need to stake inorder to have the chance to participate in IDO sales and get allocations. Only 100 users will be able to participate in any given IDO: 50 users who are the top scorers for completing IDO-related tasks on social media and 50 randomly selected individuals.

In the Guaranteed Allocation Tiers, users will have staked a specific amount of $PLAN tokens from Levels I - IV to get allocation for each IDO.

Guaranteed Allocation Tiers guarantee you project sales allocation calculated on the base allocation and your level multiplier.

What is the Competition Tier?

For users who are staking 8,000 $PLAN, you will need to complete tasks via social media to be able to participate in each upcoming IDO. The top 50 scorers will secure a guaranteed place, while the next 50 will be randomly selected. This means there is 100 users in total who will get a guaranteed IDO allocation who are part ofthe competition tier.

How do I participate in an IDO?

Step 1. Go to the ‘App’ page

Step 2. Do the KYC registration and whitelist your wallet

Step 3. Stake enough $PLAN to get on one of the tier levels

Step 4. Register for each IDO you want to participate in. When the IDO registration period starts, you need to go to the ‘Projects’ page and click the ‘Register’ button

What are the steps leading up to the IDO?
  1. IDO registration times vary, although usually registration opens 5-6 days before the IDO
  2. Registration closes 7 hours before the IDO starts
  3. Lottery levels winners and whitelist winners are announced
  4. Initialbase allocation calculated. The calculation depends on the number of registrants and ensures there are enough tokens for guaranteed allocation
  5. IDO sale starts. Registered participants who stake in the four guaranteed allocation tiers, as well as the lottery and whitelisted winners, are allowed to fund their allocations in the project
  6. First Mover Round (FRM) starts 1 hour before the IDO sale ends
  7. The IDOsale ends. The token distribution and listing information can be found on the Planet Starter Announcements Telegram channel
